My issue with this is the same as I had with Spider-Man in the MCU. Both characters are Marvel's #1 Hero and #1 Villain. They don't need to have the Tony Stark rub to make them popular with general movie going audiences.

Don't forget that he was married to a shape shifting, alien, Skrull, tranny, who transformed into a black woman for him for many years unbeknownst to us until Secret Invasion. That was some "black girl magic" alright.

I’m perfectly cool with them tossing this shyt in the back of the vault with Harry Styles, because what the fukk was this show. Some intriguing plot points sure, but an overall character assassination on Fury IMO.

Also Marvel Execs: Yeah, we’re gonna have Emilia Clarke pop through the portal at the end of Secret Wars, Endgame style. The crowd is gonna love the shyt out of it.
