Cats can hate on Avatar now all they want because it's in style but seeing it in 3D in the theatres was a time of technology amazement and awe that hasn't been replicated since. It was like that first heroin high, so seeing at now even in 3D won't be nearly as stimulatingAvatar in real IMAX is still my greatest experience ever in a movie theater

was 10/10 movie theatre experience and til this day the only movie that ever did 3D right. I dont know why this forum hates this movie so much. Was a crazy ride from start to finish.I will never understand why this and District 9 never got sequels

The film itself is a solid scifi blockbuster, people just started hating because the story was done before and it made so much money so being solid wasn't good enough anymore. But the 3D technology was perfection.

They are making Avatar sequels though but Cameron is making them shyts simultaneously or something, that's part of why it is taking so long.
