Avatar is a classic. People just don't want to admit it. It took multiple viewings for it make what it made. People saw it 3 + times. And it stayed number one at the box office for like 2 months (give or take).

Don't underestimate Cameron. He always has a new trick up his sleeve.

He is the only guy who knows how to make a believeable space age setting. Where it is practical and realistic. That his cues are used for products to this day.
