He had the right balance immediately after the split but lately he's become a caricature. I also think he was great when the Shield first arrived.
I wasn't watching WWE then but going back and looking, he was initially "the guy," and spokesmen for the team.
You knew he was "crazy," but he was always in control.
Not the case now and it's cartoony and goofy.

You combine that with the fact that he's lost every feud and big match since the split and yeah.
Creative certainly isn't doing him any favors but unless they're demanding it, I'd want him to tone down the twitches and "I'm crazy," faces.
It's disappointing because he was the most over of the trio after the split.
His fanfare dying down has just as much to do with his recent awkward ticks and shady mic work as it does him jobbing excessively.

Totally this. Ambrose came in seeming like a greasy paramilitary leader who was quietly sociopathic just beneath the surface. Now half the time he comes off as a drooling buffoon. Them Cokeboy paw prints are all over his character transformation.

There's still hope for him though. He should take Austin's advice and tone down the "zany" aspect.

It's not all on Vince though, Ambrose has more input in his promos and character than you think. His indie character wasn't really any different. I found his indie character to be unrealistic and cartoonish as well.

Pat Patterson on Jericho's podcast Friday

That homo may be the best booker ever :yeshrug:

You hear the MLW podcast from yesterday breh? I get why he and Vince are such good friends now, Court and Alex Greenfield talked about a story where Vince was imagining Brian Kendrick in prison aloud in a production meeting ("Can you imagine this guy in prison? He's so pretty") :scust:

Can't find the thread about Jericho's podcast.

Everyone should listed today's episode. Daniel Bryan talks with GREAT details about his injury and talks about his stance on his future. He clearly has a very different perspective about wrestling than most of his fans.

He even talks about Punk.
