I usually agree with Austin but on the last ep he was giving his opinion on Dean Ambrose and I was like :patrice::why:the whole time

He was pretty much saying Dean is a good talker but he's 'boxed himself into a corner' by brawling all the time. Court Bauer said that Dean was acting too much with all the weird ticks and gestures he does during a match.

IMO The only reason Dean is not at a higher level is cause of shytty writing... dude can talk and the weird quirks he has are pretty entertaining imo. The only lame shyt about him is the announcers trying to push that Lunatic Fringe shyt all the time.

Not to mention Austin pretty much brawled all the time during his peak. :yeshrug:

Do Austin/Court have a point about Dean not being there yet cause of his own shortcomings, or you think that it's another case of WWE fukking up? Maybe some of both?

Speak on it :whoo:
I honestly feel that Austin doesn't like ambrose for whatever reason , maybe subconsciously he doesn't like the pillman vibe or the Austin comparisons :yeshrug: even when he was carrying raw with Seth he was still like :yeshrug: he was high on reigns for awhile even when fans were talking about ambrose /brock . He's always been down on him and he's light years better than reigns on mic and in the ring

That's interesting... don't know if it's true but I can see it. :ohhh:

Nah, Austin is right. Underneath everything Austin did was still the base of a great wrestler who when he had to go, could go with anyone. Dean going so far with the theatrics in just about every movement he makes causes a disconnect with a lot of his matches. He really needs to work on his offense.

If he was as critical about reigns before id say ok , when ambrose was at his hottest Austin still was pretty meh on him . He pretty much was like naw he's destined to be a midcarder. And his love of bray also when he was cold and his cena love :patrice:

Yeah...he doesn't talk about Ambrose too much. He likes Reigns though and he has been putting him over as a legit super top guy that is something guaranteed to happen. He does bring up his shortcomings these days and definitely thinks Bryan vs Lesnar is the money match for this year.

But it took him too long to get off of reigns bandwagon to me . When bray was cold as ice he was still riding bray

So all people are entitled to like Ambrose now? I remember somebody on here said Stone Cold is jealous of Ambrose...I mean wtf does Stone Cold GOAT go to be jealous of Ambrose for?! I don't see Pillman, Stone Cold, Jake Roberts, etc. in Dean Ambrose. He's overly goofy to me and just as bad as people say Reigns is. I think people are too quick to want to brand him legendary characters for some reason and I don't think he did anything significant to deserve that honor. I noticed anytime something falls flat with Ambrose it's always the WWE's fault, Roman or Seth falls flat on something it's THEIR fault (even though Seth has been killing it lately) Stone Cold cooled down a lot on talking about Reigns also. So... Before ya'll get on my case, I've checked out his indie stuff and wasn't impressed either. :yeshrug:

I'm not feeling Ambrose, never have, I see where Austin is coming from and as much as he contributed to the business, I think he has more right than almost anybody to speak on subjects like this.

What's more shocking to me though is that Seth alone has been carrying RAW on his back like a champion already and it kinda bugs me that nobody in the business talks about him much, but should. Seth right now is the most interesting thing about the WWE and had the best booking out of The Shield. I rarely see a bad match from him and his characer with J&J Security is :lolbron: status to me.

I don't think he's off the bandwagon. I don't see how you guys are interpreting Stone Cold's words into B.S., but I see it moreso in that Stone Cold sees that he just isn't ready and doesn't want his push ruined. Roman Reigns is supposed be "The Guy," but yet had the worst booking out of The Shield.

The worst booking is ambrose because he got over organically and has yet to win a match in any of his feuds

First of all we all routinely praise rollins now . I been on him as a heel since day one cause I saw his previous heel work . You dont have to like Ambrose no one said that but if fans (and they were a few months ago ) asking about him fighting brock and passing reigns possibly he didn't feel it . He cosigns cold ass bray too

He OD's at times.

He had the right balance immediately after the split but lately he's become a caricature. I also think he was great when the Shield first arrived.
I wasn't watching WWE then but going back and looking, he was initially "the guy," and spokesmen for the team.
You knew he was "crazy," but he was always in control.
Not the case now and it's cartoony and goofy.
You combine that with the fact that he's lost every feud and big match since the split and yeah.
Creative certainly isn't doing him any favors but unless they're demanding it, I'd want him to tone down the twitches and "I'm crazy," faces.
It's disappointing because he was the most over of the trio after the split.
His fanfare dying down has just as much to do with his recent awkward ticks and shady mic work as it does him jobbing excessively.

His comments on Reigns was interesting, too, and some of the recent interviews does make it sound like duke is getting the big head.

Austin went on to say he feels Roman Reigns “took a nap” during the Royal Rumble match by spending too much time in the corner. “I hate to keep going down that road, but that’s what happened. He goes into a corner and takes a nap,” Austin said.

Wade Keller then asserted sources close to Reigns in WWE have told him Reigns is overly confident about his position in WWE, and Austin reacted by saying the following:

“You can’t take [your spot in WWE] as a given. As soon as you think you’re entitled, you’re thinking it’s a given — no, bad things are gonna happen because it’s conveyed in your presentation. It’s like when Alabama took on Ohio State. Ohio State was number four, Alabama number one, and I think Alabama assumed they were supposed to win that game and they got the h*** beat out of them because Ohio State went and punched them in the mouth. You can’t ever assume that everything’s just gonna happen because then you get a h*** of a wakeup call

The criticism might just stem from the fact that Austin hates his life, though.

I don't think Austin hates his life...Reigns needs to step it up...Ambrose is a bit too cartoony now but I blame that on the writing. He should be okay, because I still see him as someone that if the writers say "Okay, do this in an A, B, C, D sequence" He'll do it like A, D, B,C, E. Y'all get me? He'll still do what they ask of him, but put his spin on it, and that usually goes over well with fans in this cookie-cutter WWE.
