I don't think Austin hates his life.

What makes you say this?

Roman Reigns: Every wrestler I’ve ever had critique me, they were always into my stuff or what I’m doing out there. For a non-wrestler, someone who doesn’t even know how to lock up, and if we did lock up, they wouldn’t know what to do, for them to critique any of us, it really does pop me.

CraveOnline: I always find that humorous. I think those types of people would be pissed off no matter what.

Roman Reigns: That’s what haters do. They hate because they hate their lives.

He OD's at times.
tumblr_nivvvvoA1S1qgyme1o2_400.gif

He had the right balance immediately after the split but lately he's become a caricature. I also think he was great when the Shield first arrived.
I wasn't watching WWE then but going back and looking, he was initially "the guy," and spokesmen for the team.
You knew he was "crazy," but he was always in control.
Not the case now and it's cartoony and goofy.
You combine that with the fact that he's lost every feud and big match since the split and yeah.
Creative certainly isn't doing him any favors but unless they're demanding it, I'd want him to tone down the twitches and "I'm crazy," faces.
It's disappointing because he was the most over of the trio after the split.
His fanfare dying down has just as much to do with his recent awkward ticks and shady mic work as it does him jobbing excessively.
apparently vince is very hands on with ambrose for some reason and vjnce was the one with the mannequin. Ambrose was on jericho podcast and told how vince creepily told him how he wanted him to dismantle the doll. He also said he hates all his promos in wwe
Stone Cold is not jealous of Dean Ambrose :rudy:
I just dont think he connects with ambrose for some reason :yeshrug: we all entitled to our opinions but he seemed to give bray props while he's stale on the mic and inring to a degree yet he doesn't really give him the criticism of ambrose .

That interview he did with Bray on his show was pretty horrible too

Nah lately he's been getting on Bray for talking too much without saying anything. He gives everyone their due criticism.

I listen to most of his podcasts and I remember him being pretty high on Dean at one point.

I think he's just one of the few who will be straight up and call bullshyt when he doesn't like something. So it seems like he has it in for someone, but it's just his honest critique. Which is refreshing.

The guys are going to get more free passes in the early stages of their career, too. They're green, they aren't expected to be all that great. Eventually though, you have to deliver. Or rather, you have to keep upping the ante. Bray and Dean started off hot but kind of flattened out. Austin's right to call them on it. Where-as Rollins is only getting better and better all around.

So all people are entitled to like Ambrose now? I remember somebody on here said Stone Cold is jealous of Ambrose...I mean wtf does Stone Cold GOAT go to be jealous of Ambrose for?! I don't see Pillman, Stone Cold, Jake Roberts, etc. in Dean Ambrose. He's overly goofy to me and just as bad as people say Reigns is. I think people are too quick to want to brand him legendary characters for some reason and I don't think he did anything significant to deserve that honor. I noticed anytime something falls flat with Ambrose it's always the WWE's fault, Roman or Seth falls flat on something it's THEIR fault (even though Seth has been killing it lately) Stone Cold cooled down a lot on talking about Reigns also. So... Before ya'll get on my case, I've checked out his indie stuff and wasn't impressed either. :yeshrug:

I'm not feeling Ambrose, never have, I see where Austin is coming from and as much as he contributed to the business, I think he has more right than almost anybody to speak on subjects like this.

What's more shocking to me though is that Seth alone has been carrying RAW on his back like a champion already and it kinda bugs me that nobody in the business talks about him much, but should. Seth right now is the most interesting thing about the WWE and had the best booking out of The Shield. I rarely see a bad match from him and his characer with J&J Security is :lolbron: status to me.
:ohhh:

Could have sworn you were a Ambrose stan.. I completely agree though. Ambrose has some potential but he's way, way too corny. He'll never fully connect with his gimmick. He's not that good in the ring either. I think people like the idea of Ambrose more than they like Ambrose himself.

Rollins is GOAT though. I wasn't big on him originally but he's completely won me over. Reigns is getting there but he still needs time. I think he has huge potential though.

The worst booking is ambrose because he got over organically and has yet to win a match in any of his feuds

I disagree (we've had this discussion NUMEROUS times, not changing my mind because I don't find it to be true), but I think we can all agree that Seth's had the best booking. I much rather have better booking, better promo material, and allowed to experiment with my character because it'll benefit in the long run than rushed to main event WM like Roman.

You guys are acting like Dean Ambrose is Mizdow status. Chill out, he'll be fine.

His comments on Reigns was interesting, too, and some of the recent interviews does make it sound like duke is getting the big head.

The criticism might just stem from the fact that Austin hates his life, though.

I didn't know you knew Austin personally...

:dahell:
That's a strong ass assumption.

You can't tell Ambrose fans that. EVERYBODY'S just jealous of Dean if they give him constructive criticism. Dean's perfect and doesn't need to change at all according to his fans. :usure:

His promos are grossly overrated too. People really put him up there as the top 3 mic worker in the WWE right now and there's so many people I would put ahead of him.

Let them tell it, Dean's a hybrid of Brian Pillman, Jake Roberts, Stone Cold, and even Sting. :mjlol:

A MAN that ushered in one of the greatest eras of pro-wrestling jealous of Dean.:pachaha:

Exactly. Stone Cold is a straight shooter, if you on that bullsh_t, he's going to call you out.

I liked Ambrose a little when he first premiered and I thought he was cool, but the more I learned about him as a wrestler AND a person, he's kinda turned me off a little honestly. I hate his fandom too, mostly weird ass psychotic b_tches (as much as folks talk sh_t about Roman having nothing but female fanbase, Dean's female fanbase is HUGE and not all there mentally, Seth was the only one I felt like had a majority male fanbase). People forget that Dean was the first one in The Shield that had first dibs on matches with legends, a championship, spokesperson for a great stable, and the "chosen one," but he started to slack off during his U.S. Championship reign. He came off really arrogant to me in some interviews like he already "made it." Seth's always been my favorite though. When everybody was high on Ambrose and Reigns, I was like, "Seth's going to be the one to break out and do better than Ambrose and Reigns." I still think so. Reigns is main eventing WM and winning his feuds, BUT his booking has been ass cheeks. Seth's been carrying RAW on his back, but ever since Daniel Bryan came back people want to overlook that. Seth's the reason why I've been tuning in RAW mostly.

You hit the nail on the head! People like the IDEA. That's another thing too, he's been wrestling since his teenage years and I still feel like he looks "green" when you put him to somebody like Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins, and Cesaro who spent a lot of years in the indies as well. I expected him to be a little more seasoned and Naomi throws harder punches than Dean. I just find him to be awkward and people ignore the times his segments have went to complete silence (i.e. that sex doll segment). If Mick Foley didn't come out to speak, I would've changed the channel.

Yup, from a business standpoint, I can see why people are high on Reigns and Seth because they have surpassed Ambrose (most people are going to say they've had better booking, but when Dean came back from the movie he was shoved down our throats as well...he was on RAW moreso than Reigns on each episode when Reigns was injured) in some aspects, especially Seth. I mean even at this point, it's a step down for Seth to feud with Ambrose when he has too many potential feuds with bigger stars.

I've already explained in another thread that a lot of you are misinterpreting what Stone Cold is saying. You guys are reaching extra hard to say he "hates" certain wrestlers, when he's giving constructive criticism. He's not a "hater" and Roman's not referring to Stone Cold. They have no heat with one another, I think Stone Cold is even cool with all The Shield guys from what I remember.
