This summer? there's a reason why he opted in.Harden being Harden isn't mutually exclusive with Brooklyn being a shyt show. I don't disagree with most of what you said, but I simply don't blame Harden for pushing out of Brooklyn.
I do disagree, however, that nobody was going to pay him.
When he originally re-upped with Philly, it was the same situation. The teams that had cap space weren't gonna sign him and he was gonna take a big paycut to do it
side note: NBA players don't really wanna go to free agency anymore. Now it's not really about how much cap space you have (you can't be a good team with cap space anymore). Now it's all about tryna stay under 2nd aprons.
