Dude is about to be 40, that shyt not smart. There's nowhere for him to go work and earn what he was getting there.

I see it from the side too...get them checks while you can :francis:

:russ: First thing I thought

I disagree. Dude debuted in ring in March. Made it to the preshow on the WM card in April:mindblown: Was on the Packback ppv and Extreme Rules ppv. Then quits in July.:wtf:

Dude is 40 and 5'9. His fiancé just got signed. :dahell: Dude got paid off ppv, 205live, tv, and houseshows.

Dudes an idiot. Shoulda stayed with the E and got them checks.

Aries was too slow to be in there with 205. Storylines be damned, he was a bad fit from the jump. Unless they were going to give him the Kendrick push and make him go over all those guys which they were never going to do.

He won't be missed though. Have fun in Bullet Club doing "super kick parties" for $100 a night :dead:

lol Idk, it's really nothing to do with his work. I just don't like him. I can actually say he's a good performer in the ring and on the mic but he just comes across as an unappreciative dikkhead who thinks he's top 5 DOA or something. The smiling in the camera after the loss to neville, this shyt here

He's not that good to be that cocky imo. He's been released from TNA at least four times, that says a lot :heh:

That GIF was in character lmao. Get worked into a shoot brother.

Aries has enormous swagger, and can actually pull off a decent cocky babyface. His psychology is still kind of shytty in ring, and I really think that's why they stuck him on 205. He will probably end up back at Impact, now that they have their payment issues under control, and considering he left on very good terms:

No he won't. He made it to the big leagues only to fail while guys like Aj & Samoa Joe excelling.

It can only go downwards from here.

Ehhh. .. We're in an Indy era presently and for being 40 he doesn't appear to be losing steps too rapidly. ..

even with his questionable attitude at times dude will be able to find work off the fact he can actually talk for as long as he wants it imo. He got lucky in that department as a lot of cats his size can do all the flips but don't have mic skills

:mjlol: the new news that the reason he was fired was because the writing staff hated him, not because he asked to be released :mjlol:

Austin Aries was released from his WWE contract recently. In what was an unexpected release; Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio possibly has shed some light on the situation. Meltzer stated that WWE is claiming to have released Aries instead of Aries asking to be released himself.

Nonetheless, Aries was apparently thrilled to be let go from the company. Austin Aries had signed a three year deal with the WWE early last year; so if he had quit on his own, WWE would’ve had the rights to hold him so that he would not be able to wrestle until 2019. :damn: Meltzer also stated that Aries was upset that him & Neville’s WWE Cruiserweight Championship match from WrestleMania was placed on the kickoff show.

The kickoff show match is not included on the WrestleMania 33 DVD which equals; no royalties for either Neville nor Austin Aries :scusthov:. Also, Aries reportedly had a bad attitude backstage, due to him being upset at the fact that he was “trapped” so to speak; in the Cruiserweight division.

its 3 discs and 2 blu rays and they couldn't put that match on their....its 9 hours of content in them...
