LOL, did you watch the full episode? She couldn't dance like that in the beginning. The point is the new Aunt Viv was boring and had no personality. There's a reason the ratings started to fall cause fans weren't believing her in the role like that. There was even a report where Will had admitted to the bosses they may have made the wrong decision cause again those ratings started to slip. Just as Baby nicki was being born the show was at an all time high. Aunt Viv left and it was downhill from there. I still got love for the later seasons but you could tell it just wasn't the same show.

After careful research I acutally side with The 1st Aunt Viv. Will had a big head and was very arrogant. He thought the show would do just fine without her and he was wrong. The last 3 seasons of Fresh Prince were the worst of the series. Cause the new Aunt Viv just wasn't the same. Aunt Viv was a strong black women. A lot of black people could relate to that character cause that's how our mothers were or grandmothers were. The new Aunt Viv had no personality, was way too nice and wasn't funny at all. Will jump the gun and ruined the show.

They are all bitter against her cause they know the show fell off without her. The key to that show success was Will, Carlton, Uncle Phil and Aunt Viv. As well as Jeffery. The Two girls were cool but they didn't drive the show. By replacing Aunt Viv, Will messed up the chemistry of the show. I got love for Will but how he handled the Aunt Viv thing as well as him dissing hard core Hip Hop are the two issues I had with him. Also in the 1st Aunt Viv defense, when they fired her she didn't say sh!t about will for years. But Will was all on the radio throwing her name in the dirt. Carlton was wrong for calling her out her name.

It's clear they all have guilty conscious cause a majority of original Fresh Prince fans know she was the Best Aunt Viv and the new one again had no energy at all. Also Will was lying when he and the company put out the spin that she wanted it to be about her. The show is called "The Fresh Prince" not "Aunt Viv of Bel Air", she knew her role but she wasn't going to make Aunt Viv a weak character like they did with the 2nd mom. I commend her for not shucking and jiving, that's why the 1st Aunt Viv didn't play and the fans loved her for that:

i can understand how behind the scenes shyt could have made it difficult or whatever, but from a strictly viewers perspective, the first Aunt Viv was waaaaaaaay better then the second. Aunt Viv part 2 was bland as fukk, seriously. i agree with dude, they fukked up the chemistry of the show with that switch. im not even saying they had to keep the first one if it was really all that bad, but they could have at least got someone with some spark to replace her.

I feel like the 1st aunt viv was the one of the last strong black mothers on tv. She was fine too.

I was a teen when this show dropped but I imagined discussing WEB Dubois in the hottub with her and shyt.

But anyway, I despise Wendy Williams so I appreciate any ether she gets.

Exactly, Aunt Viv was like a real Mother figure to Will. And her and Phil arguments were like a real couple. The new Aunt Viv just didn't have that vibe. I'm not even saying she's a bad actress I'm just saying the character was established by Janet Hubert. If they couldn't find an actress with that type of style then she should of been written off the show. The new aunt viv was just a whole different character all the together which again messed up the chemistry established in the 1st 3 seasons. Yes Will, Carlton and Uncle Phil drove the story in the later seasons but Aunt Viv was clearly an important character and Will shouldn't of let his ego mess up the show.

Again I believe her mostly cause Will was throwing dirt on her name and she wasn't saying anything negative about him for years. This video was the 1st time she spoke out. It's clear Will was young and felling himself back then. I wish he would man up and apologize to this women. It was obviously hard for her to get parts cause I'm sure Will messed up her name in the industry.
