logging into my student loan account, i was pleasantly surprised by an update indicating some of my loans had been forgiven. still working on the remaining amount, but this was a welcome bit of relief.
Most people who went to college didn't go to join no fukking frat.See that as a Black man who's had numerous encounters with police I care about that
But seeing how I have no college debt cause I went to trade school for free I could give two shyts about those who took out enormous amounts of student loans. Hope pledging to your lil Greek cults and the whole college experience of finding yourself was worth it though
They went because they were told that was the best way to success, by their parents and by their teachers. This is especially true in many black households where the kids were the first ones in the family to go to college. They didn't fukking know that they were being sold an outdated American dream. So you took a different path. Good for you. No need to be a dikk about it.
