To be honest: yes, it does work like that in America. African blacks are seen as better, more polite, more intelligent, less of a problem, more productive, than home grown Negroes. African blacks are Mexicans minus the 50 million children stereotype but plus the muslim thing. Whites prefer the company of African blacks to home grown Negroes (that also goes for the company of Island blacks over home grown Negroes). But that's just what I've observed. Very disappointing.

These NBA players (Clippers plyaers) are gifted individuals who make millions of dollars, are well known to the public and thus in a position where they can have a lot of influence and power (well not to the level of billionaire owners obviously but I expect not a damn thing from those guys) and they could've collectively taken a stand and used their influence and power to make change in the NBA by bringing in more attention and putting pressure on Silver and owners and set long lasting social implications as well.
A fukking let down.

To whom much is given , much is expected and please don't compare the players and coaches to regular salaried people because they're privileged individuals (again, not as privileged as the owners but compared to everyday people) who chose to be passive at a moment where they could've made a statement.
