This has been said but a lot of valid arguments have been negated by the use of jew every other word.
Ignorance does not negate ignorance....

I'm not going to censor myself in order to be deemed politically correct on here. Can't we just call it how we see it? The NBA is a primarily Jewish owned league with a Jewish commissioner. All of the people involved have a lot of money...and a lot of money to lose because of this situation. Do you think it'd be illogical to connect the dots and bring up the possibility that maybe they are trying to protect Sterling, based on the behavior that's been displayed so far? (Cuban's statements, slow response from NBA to even acknowledge the story, Silver presser, etc.)

I'm not coming at this from a st0rmfr0nt mentality. Real shyt, my great-grandfather was a white Jewish dude...that would make me part Jewish. I have no qualms against any Jewish people I encounter in my day to day life, the fact that they're Jewish doesn't cross my mind honestly. Growing up I went to plenty of bar/bat mitvahs, as anecdotal as that is. Using the word Jew, for me at least, isn't coming from a place of hate. I'm just connecting the dots and trying to figure out why the fukk Silver laid such an egg in his press conference and appeared to be caping for Sterling. I'm completely dumbfounded by his response and am trying to answer the big question....why?

You guys are absolutely ridiculous...its been about a day and its the weekend...with the NBA in the middle of the damn playoffs.

Wouldn't it be responsible for the NBA to explore all possibilities as to what they CAN do? Do you guys realize that they just can't go ahead and FIRE an owner of a MULTI-MILLION dollar team at their will? What did you want Silver to come out and say? "Yeah, Donald Sterling no longer owns the Clippers"...you guys cannot REALLY think it's THAT easy do you?

Is it a suspension that you guys want? I am not even sure that is possible...which is why Adam Silver kept bringing up Sanctions over anything else...you guys are really not thinking these things through :snoop:

Let's just wait and see to see what happens by Tuesday...is that fair?

Don't play the dismissive, "I've thought this out more than you have" role.

Yes, I obviously realize that a knee-jerk reaction within a day of the event happening is foolish. Anybody with any legal sense knows that. What's not foolish is setting a zero tolerance tone for this type of behavior and publicly chastising Sterling, which I felt the league lacked in doing today. The NBA could've came out today and said that they're starting an investigation, and if the tapes are in fact of Sterling they will seek the harshest options available to them in the future, up to and including expulsion from the league. They could've said that the NBA is no place for this, and we take all matters of racism/sexism/homophobia EXTREMELY seriously. Even if they don't do that at all and they're empty threats, it paints a no tolerance imagine and presents that they take the remarks very, very seriously. I didn't get that vibe from the presser at all, which is why I'm disappointed in the response. It has nothing to do with knee-jerk reactions...which is what you assume I want. I just want zero tolerance for this shyt, especially in the league like the NBA, or at least the illusion that they have zero tolerance for this. FIFA has a great zero tolerance policy and takes these types of things seriously, the NBA could learn a thing or two from them.

Silver basically said that...it was the first question asked. They will consider all the sanctions that are written into what I am guessing an encyclopedia worth of legal papers that they are reviewing right now. Was he not angry enough for you? Again, we have established that you want Sterling gone...what if Silver DID say "up to and including expulsion" and once he hears back from the legal team that he can't do that? He will look like a moron and people will start playing that back and start asking MORE questions as to why Sterling was not banned.

I expect a pretty harsh penalty come Tuesday...you guys want swift actions to a situation the NBA has NEVER been in like before. This is the first of its kind and are dealing with an owner who has enough money to draw out a long suit if he feels like he has a case. Adam Silver is a goddamn Lawyer...I think its fair to give him and the staff a little time to sort through this mess.

Seriously though, acting like the NBA is protecting Sterling is absurd...the last thing the NBA wants is a tarnished image when it comes to its players and fans. This is bigger than them "protecting their own"...they fukk this up and it can cost the league BILLIONS of dollars in SEVERAL ways if they don't and analyze and tip-toe any possible legal pushback by Sterling, annoy its biggest stars (LeBron, CP3, Blake, Doc Rivers, and everyone else), or annoy the millions of fans who are calling for Sterling's head.

There is a LOT at stake here...this is not a simple oh yeah! Well you are fired! on some Vince McMahon/Donald Trump shyt :comeon:
