Millionaire athletes still have to maintain a lifestyle. People struggle when they go from $50000 - $30000 but you want athletes to give up millions like its nothing? SMH. The Players association needs to get involved ASAP. A unified front for EVERYONE.

you don't get paid in the playoffs

Just have to thank God that we got MLK and Malcolm X when we had needed them in the 60s. Shout out to Russell, Ail, Brown, and Jabaar as well. They had a fraction of support or protection these c00ns have in current day. Richard Sherman is making shyt be known in the NFL with his articles.:wow:

Of the hundred of black NBA, NFL, MLB nikkas no one has the balls to say shyt...you afraid of massa and your sponsors that much? :pacspit::pacspit::pacspit:

I dont know man typically those places have a lot of black people but I wouldnt call them black neighborhoods.

like quick was saying, PREDOMINATELY black neighborhoods typically have black owned businesses.

Go to the bay area and you'll see asians and middle easterners having a lock on the corner stores, weave stores, laundry mats and whatever else. I'm talking Oakland, SF,and many of the surrounding areas.

Now you're exaggerating and diminishing the problem. And just because you see a black person working the counter up front doesn't mean it's owned by a black person. I've seen weave shops who have a black person working the register, but it's owned by some asians.
no no. its black owned, I specifically said that, and I said that because the owner was there with his daughter.

I swear, some of yall make out black people to be completely useless, and there are some black folks out there putting in mad work, how about recognizing that instead of dismissing it? most predominately black neighborhoods are injected with small black owned businesses, more than not.

Lol this is the worst type of attitude. You think shaq is going to get blackballed if he spoke about this. He's a cultural icon what more of a position do you want someone to be in to take a fukking stance. I don't use the word c00n I'm not a coli militant but some of the responses here are pathetic. What repercussions do you think Chris Paul would face if he didn't want to take the court, you think no one would sign him next year? I'm not even suggesting he do that but stop making excuses for people not taking a stance. We can't expect millionaires to take a stance, then who? We had African Americans in hitters Germany and segregated America risk their lives with political statements but I can't expect one millionaire to do something bold and take a stand?

There are no black owned tv stations that cover sports; the minute Shaq speaks up, he's left all on his ass. If you don't believe me, look at Craig Hodges who was blackballed because he wanted to support black communities and associating with Farakhan. When it comes to racism, alot of people on board, that's why they'll decide to shyt on you, no matter how good you are. Tiger was a dominant golpher, yet lost most of his sponsors simply for fukking white chicks. Kobe was beloved and in McDonalds commercials with little kids, yet became an enemy overnight after alludegly raping a white woman.

I'll leave with this, you look at the twitters of these athletes, they'll tweet all day, but notice they didn't have anything to say about Trayvon or Donald Sterling. Don't you think it's a bit odd, how there's little to no opinion from these athletes? That goes to show you how these guys are in check, and there's validity to the term "40 million dollar slave".
