How did that sht get totaled? The airbags went off?

Nope…I didnt think it was that bad at first…there was damage to the left rear wheel (it wouldn’t drive straight), the back and left fender, back left door…they originally told me it would be like 2 months to repair, then found additional damage to the door frame that pushed it up passed $30k and they totaled it out

Looked at a s6 but was more than i wanted to pay…Got a ‘24 A6 that looks damn near exactly like the one that was wrecked…I’m a creature of habit

The body panels on Audi's are usually aluminum which means $$$$ to repair/replace.

I was gonna buy an A4 a few years ago. Got steered out of that. Are A6 and S5 not entry level Audi though?

A3/Q3 are the entry level Audi's in North America/Canada.

I may just get that for a family car once the deprecation goes down to at least low 30k high 20k range.

Since this is an Audi topic -- I'm half tempted to take the 5.2 V10 out of an S6 and throw it into an Allroad or an S4 car would be a total sleeper except for the exhaust noise

Hope you got deep pockets because its not like an LS swap and for the money you can just put an 4.0t at that point unless you really love the 5.2

Eh I've got a line on both and I know what it takes to do the swap. Could be worse, at least I didn't say swap a TDI into it. And in terms of the 5.2 vs the 4.0T, the 5.2 is cheaper, and I actually think it sounds a bit better with a decent exhaust.
