Depends on the car and engine. Sometimes IE parts with an APR tune, sometimes Turner Motorsports. Should be mentioned that DO NOT tune and Audi or VW under warranty unless you want to buy a separate ECM for it; ODIS has gotten incredibly good at detecting tunes, even if using a piggyback.
IE pulley, merc racing HX + APR or 034 tune (3.0, single pulley stage 2)

I'm back and forth between APR and 034, I like being able to do it myself with 034, but I trust APR more

APR has the warranty I think, where if their tune causes something to break in terms of the engine, they'll cover at least part of the cost.

She's finally home brehs :to:

3rd Audi, third times the charm I guess. Had a B8 S4 and B8.5 S4 before. Then went to Benz/BMW for a bit. Ordered back in 2021 but didn't get allocation until last year. Finally got built in May and took delivery last Saturday.

@Schadenfreude are 2018 or 2019 Q7s more reliable? Also do you recommend an extended warranty through Audi or go with a 3rd party?

Reliability is relative; any used German car you buy you need as much of the service history as possible. Warranties thru Audi have varying levels of coverage -- some have a deductible some don't. You got a VIN for the vehicles in question so I can check that national dealer service history so it have an idea of what's been done and what hasn't? Or if there's any special service policies that apply to the vehicles in question?

Edit: the best 3rd party warranty I've seen from when I was a tech was the MaxCare warranty from CarMax; we had an Audi A8 that a customer bought from CarMax that had Air Suspension that was leaking; also had a cam/crank correlation code as well and needed a set of timing chains and guides. The MaxCare warranty paid for everything minus a $100 deductible from the customer and the bill was over $15k with parts and labor.

How fast is it? I got an m340 . I know the m340 is faster but the s5 is a much more luxurious ride?

0-60 4.2s
Quarter mile 12.9s

I’ve never owned an m340 or any BMW for the matter so I can’t speak on those. Before this purchase I’ve owned another S5 and an A5 Coupe previously. I’m a believer in the brand and the S5 gives me a fun drive that’s also a nice daily vehicle. I’ve had heads turn on my previous S5 but I’ve gotten more compliments so far on how this one looks in my two months of having it.

As far as a luxury ride it being AWD provides a smooth experience to the drive. Gets off the line quick and handles well. I got massage seats and all that which the lady enjoys.
