It really doesn't matter bc everyone has a different experience.
I had a VW that was constant probs from the time the warranty ended at 30K. I protected/kept the car garaged all the time.
Check engine light has been on in the car for over a decade, and just a bunch of issues. The excuse was always, "well VWs have high quality parts and are very advanced vehicles", blah blah blah. I got tired of dropping $400+ everytime anything little thing went wrong.
VW owns Audi and some of the parts have Audi logo on them. So I steer clear of both. Just my personal opinion and experience.
I bought a Honda Accord after that. If you need a reliable ride, look that way or Toyota, even Kia. I like companies offering 100K mile warranties. That's just me though.
I have a EV now tho, lol

My advice to you is this if you're going that route: if you don't want your pockets ran, you're going to have to learn to work on your own stuff and spend some money on some tooling if you're buying an Audi/VW out of warranty. You're also going to have to understand that they cost more to maintain than a Japanese car.

Was involved in an hit and run last month…got the call last week that it was totaled ….that was my favorite whip
…don’t even know what I want now, had ZERO plans of getting anything else anytime soon….kinda leaning towards staying with #AudiGang but not sure…saw the Genesis GV80 Coupe and it piqued my interest, but it won’t be available until the end of the year sometime
I had an Audi A5. It was a nice car I liked the handling but those V4s are pathetic; really bad turbo lag too. I thought about getting a new one for a minute but I saw they still have the same V4s and I read they have the same turbo issues. That’s a showstopper for me. I don’t get how you sell a coupe with a p*ssy engine.

Breh: a lot of people tune the 2.0T; you can get pretty good power out of it and a warranty as well. All cars with a turbocharger have a little bit of turbo lag; the turbo needs exhaust gases to spin the turbine in the turbocharger faster to build the boost.

Stupid muhfukka side swiped me on the highway and just kept on going
The first thing I heard was them slamming on the breaks, they were about to flat out run into the back of me….had to be going damn near 100mph…they breaked and swerved to the left and clipped my left end…I was PISSED !
