He just wasn't proud of the art style is all. He was satisfied with everything else. He thought the characters were beginning to become hard to tell apart. I think the anime is just trying to pick up the pace a little but still keep a good flow.
The ep was pretty cool especially the ending. That trailer was pretty much the whole first ep minus context.

I did too cuz I hate reading manga that is so far ahead that I either dont bother or I just read the newest one and let the anime fill me in for the parts I didnt read.
I did 2 anime forgot which ones that were 70 or more chapters ahead of anime and that shyt was a bytch said never again
