people saying the first ep of season 3 shows Eren at sea with longer hair. The ep opens with that scene. So I believe the battle against the beast/armor/and colossal will happen. They may have altered the writing a bit if my guess is correct.

true. it's gonna be interesting to see how it all plays out. A lot can be covered in one ep, but still, it's a lot to be covered.
