They waiting on Cardi lol

No one else there has the sales and tour potential, even then cardi is getting old, just had another kid, lazy, etc. :francis:

i wouldn't say cardi is lazy. at all.

cardi is scared to catch a brick. and cardi doesn't need album sales to make money. put 'em together and...

The output is still low over the course of 6 years add to the fact tht she still has yet to actually tour

100% agree. i'm not giving her a pass for failing to show up. you can't, when nicki is about to spin the block with another album. but cardi is a hustler. even when she's not dropping albums she's working.

A Boogie
Gucci
Cardi
Kevin Gates
Bruno Mars
Anderson .Paak
Lil Uzi Vert
Roddy Ricch
Ty Dolla $ign
Don Toliver
Cordae
Burna Boy
Jack Harlow
Finesse2Tymes

Their roster was way more loaded not too long ago from the hip-hop/R&B side but many people have either died (Nipsey, half of 1017) or left (Kodak Black, YoungBoy NBA, Meek Mill, Wiz Khalifa, Curren$y)

A&R still exist

Motherfukkers been doing a horrible job the last 10 plus years with finding active talent

Nobody can rap with any diversity

All these nikkas are on drugs and mumbling… the females are all about they phat bbl , wet p*ssy and getting birkin bags

Add tik tok, YouTube, instagram and others for people to go on a present their trash music for others to see, the labels are done..

Too many artists not reaching that quota to keep the lights on

Labels need that auto industry bailout

Facts. And hip hop doesn't have that young, rising star to lift the entire genre. Losing Pop Smoke was a major blow to the industry. He was on the brink of major mainstream global popularity. He was already very popular in Europe.

These rappers who ganged up on Drake are about to realize how much he was indirectly carrying them as far as mainstream appeal.

Him and Bruno were some of the reasons presumably. Too busy getting paid on tour to record an album.

Was bound to happen to Atlantic who were literally just signing anyone, giving them a song from the vault, eating off that one viral song and going on to the next. Terrible fukkin label
Ak had said he got access to the Atlantic vault of reference tracks that artists use. He said people woukd be shocked if it ever got out

I honestly think it’s about over for hip hop unless it evolves into something more mature and palatable.

Kendrick, Drake and Cole are all pushing 40, there’s only so much runway left for them. One of them is gonna be 3 stacks flute status eventually.

feel like the female thot-rap wave was gonna carry them but these albums ain’t really selling either. They been trying their hardest for years now to market Megan Tha Stallion and it just ain’t happening on that level.

i don’t even know if there is another wave following that. There’s only a handful of artist left that can sell out an arena and they need other famous openers and guest acts to do it
