Hell nah they hadn’t lol. It was a lot of poor students there, at central, and south but it wasn’t hopeless like Douglass or west lake, black in the day.

It was like that when I lived in west Tacoma. People from Seattle would get the face if you mentioned living in Tacoma or Lakewood lmao

I was always curious about that. As an outsider I’ve always considered Ft. Lauderdale to basically be Miami. It wasn’t until the newer generations of rappers that I realized there’s a real difference.

Every nikka I met who say that from Atlanta don’t be knowing what the fukk they talking about.



But real shyt, Atlanta is weird as hell with city boundaries and mailing addresses which is why I can understand the confusion from residents.

In that Decatur thread, nikkas tried to argue with me about Decatur being hood, when what they were referring to, and where most of these rappers be from, is not the City of Decatur, but unincorporated Dekalb County, that has a Decatur mailing address. Just because you have a Decatur mailing address doesn’t mean you in the City of Decatur.

Same shyt must be happening with the Atlanta Braves shyt, has an Atlanta address but is actually unincorporated Cobb County, basically Smyrna/Marietta.

Atlanta is just weird as hell.

Decatur has 3 levels to it lol. Downtown which is nice (north is all nice now) then you have south decatur which has always been rough, then south of I-20 decatur which is a mix. My gun is holstered on Candler rd, at night, unless I have to stop at a light near Eastwyck village. Then it’s in my lap, once it’s green it’s holstered again lol

It’s a personal thing. The wing spot I go to has hot lemon pepper wet. That’s my go to. They say don’t ask about it because you have to yell through the glass but if you ask the young chicks they’ll make it.

I think she's trying to be funny saying even the Braves claim Atlanta, but not there.

Braves not in Fulton but technically that part of Cobb still Atlanta from an address standpoint so she wrong if that was her angle.

She went viral with this and I ain’t mad at her but Atlanta is small and sectored off to a great degree already. Everybody wanna feel exclusive so this just another way to divide folks. Atlanta was never really on that type of vibe but with so many folks moving in, I guess folks like her want ppl to understand the difference.
