I said the same thing about Meg I believe.

I hope she keeps her bars up and doesn't fall into the sex symbol trap, while sacrificing her music. There are a million and one beautiful women like her, but very few that can do music as well, in the listenable way that she does.

I'm looking forward to what comes next in the same way I did when I heard Red Bars from Cardi.

EDIT: I just realized I don't have a clue what the title of that song is... I assume its red bars. :heh:

That’s what’s funny about it. All these areas that were shouted out like Decatur, College Park, etc. why cut them off when they helped Atlanta become what it is today? That’s crazy to me.

She did it for the attention and she got it. :yeshrug:

Compton has nice parts breh.

Used to be farmland.

I’m talking about that dynamic with all big cities and suburbs.

Same reason Long Island and Queens kids had such a large presence in early hip hop once it started being recorded.
You def make a case with the Long Island and Queens comparison.

LI had a HUGE presence in the late 80’s and I always wondered why.

may be on to something with that theory :ehh:

I’m born and raised in Decatur, but anywhere you can take Marta can claim ATL in my opinion. When I’m out of town, I say ATL, when I’m in town, I specifically say the Eastside(Decatur).

Honestly I’m tired of this debate :yeshrug:

Right!! MARTA is what determines what is Atlanta

One thing this little beef has taught me is how little of a role the actual Atlanta played in the image of Atlanta.

College Park and to a slightly lesser degree Decatur deserves damn near all the credit for making Atlanta look cool to everyone else, and Atlanta residents should be paying homage instead of cutting them off.
This is literally the whole point of this shyt being so dumb lol. When the greatest hip hop pioneers of your city are from East Point… you already started off basically doing the opposite of what you thought you were doing :mindblown: proving how insignificant ATL would be otherwise. :heh:
