I’m born and raised in Decatur, but anywhere you can take Marta can claim ATL in my opinion. When I’m out of town, I say ATL, when I’m in town, I specifically say the Eastside(Decatur).

Yup, whenever I was driving to Atlanta for school and got lost in the early days I knew I was going the right way when I started seeing Marta signs lmao. Usually past Ellenwood.

I've always looked at it as, anywhere off 285 is culturually Atlanta.
