exactly!! mufukkaz just refuse to use restraint and their first instinct with us is to pull the fukkin trigger :to:

And nikkaz gotta know you can't be reaching for no cops weapon man. That shyt is taught to us. Only cacs get away with that kinda nonsense.
Yea that's scary and nobody wants to sit there and get their ass whooped so you try to defend yourself to get away. Dude could of tazed the cop when he first took it but he didn't.

And the crazy part is dude was running slow af, he wasn't going to make it to the end of the parking lot

Yall are playing fantasy world right now.

This ain't a video game bruh.

You don't get to do this over.

Buddy wrestled, took the taser, ran off with the taser, then even Keisha Lance Bottoms the Mayor of Atlanta said looked to point it at the officer, and the cop shot him.

IDK how y'all are handling this shyt in your mind.

Explain to me, in frame by frame detail, how you would have handled this.

Not sure if anybody mentioned this (haven’t read the whole thread)....
Supreme Court has already stated that police can not use deadly force if a suspect is running away... unless the suspect could cause death or serious bodily harm (Tennessee vs Garner ‘85)...

A taser is not a serious bodily harm weapon. Nor is it considered a deadly weapon. There is no justification for this shooting.

Police use tasers on people all the time. Hell they used or attempted to use a taser on the victim. It isn't "lethal force". He pointed the taser and appeared to discharge it at the officer but by all accounts it appears he missed, meaning the taser was no longer a threat. Also he was still in the process of fleeing. It was 2 on 1, so all these "what ifs" regarding what could have happened with the taser is all for naught. They didn't have to shoot that man, he wasn't a threat to anyone in the immediate vicinity. If police are deathly afraid of tasers then they shouldn't be using it on people.

It is ones constitutional right, even if you are a criminal and are guilty of committing a crime; to not be killed while disobeying orders and running away from police.

It boggles my mind that people use the “if they only complied” argument during police killings. This ruling is 35 fukking years old.

It's usually used by racists to deflect and disrupt these topics
they don't care and enjoy the killings

I don't even think it gotta be all that. You said it yourself, nikkas been getting trained they whole life with these talking points. It's Stockholm syndrome.

It is the same wave. A black man was killed by the police when he shouldn't have been. :dahell:
nah not even close. The cases of Floyd and Arbery will have very strong cases in court. They were both completely unarmed and posed absolutely zero threat

My man swung on police and made it as far as jacking one of their weapons AND pointing it back at them. This is an L in court. I hate to see he lost his life over something as trivial as a DUI. They should've just let him go and look up his records from the car. But this case here is a lost cause

Even though he shouldn't have been shot? nikka every black man who shouldn't have been shot by the cops need to be rallied behind. :mindblown:

And unfortunately that doesnt happen in reality. Most cases of black men being unjustly shot never make the news. So its important if you are trying to make change that you focus on the cases that will have the biggest impact. The civil rights movement in the 60s was very strategic. I dont think yall give them enough credit sometimes. It wasnt aimless nonviolent marching like they want you to believe or how we do now. How they protested was part of a deliberate overall strategy. The spotlight shouldnt be be taken off Breanna Taylor's killers a the moment. Unfortunately it's looking like she will be an afterthought like john Crawford cause folks couldn't stay focused.

Based off the circumstances John Crawford was a bigger tragedy than mike brown like Chappelle said in his latest special.. but it didnt get hardly as much coverage or community support behind it cause they focused on the mike brown case. How a black man was killed in a open carry state for holding a product they sell which he picked up off the shelf still baffles and upsets me to this day. He deserved more coverage and outrage.

Keep in mind that he wasn’t in his right mind to begin with. He wasn’t working with a rational brain... he was either drunk or high or both.

He isn’t going to be able to make great decisions in such a highly stressful environment.

He should not have been killed for those transgressions. He should have been able to see a court date. Officers are supposed to be trained to properly handle taser disarmament situations. People under the influence shouldn’t be expected to handle it properly.

Right.. that man may have been intoxicated or what have you... .on top of that he has 2 white police officers on top of him probably choking him to death or trying...he was just trying to survive but per usual he died at the hands of people he paid to protect him
