Here's the part of marriage that I believe is truly lost in 2012.

You not supposed to be down with it until it stops being fun, or she starts to age, or until something better comes along. You are supposed to ride til the paint falls off.

It's almost like once you decide to get married just imagine your inner playa slowly starving to death cause his time has passed. Yes it's fun to f*** new puzzy and it's great to have a S/O who's forever f***able but all that is behind you now.

You're not supposed to grin and bear it til you snap and leave the country, you're supposed to just chalk it up to "for better or for worse" and keep your nose to the grindstone.

I am not saying you are doing anything wrong. It sounds like you are doing the right thing. I am suggesting that this is not something that can be "fixed". Perhaps she will become motivated and then you can work with her, or perhaps she will totally give up and then you are supposed to still support her.

To me the bottom ine of all bottom lines is the well-being of the kids. Your nuclear family is the best thing for them. Hopefully neither boredom nor pride will derail their childhoods.

anyone grown man expecting his wife that works a 9 to 5 gig with her feet up underneath a desk for 8+ hours a day 5 days a week to have a body like she had freshman year in college. is FOOLISH at best. it aint happening brehs. nope. sorry to tell yall. yall might as well not marry any chicks. cause it aint happening for the most part.

as far as working out. its not just about working out. its the FOODS you eat. its not just fast food. its which foods you eat fast or regular foods. to much chicken= to many hormones = women blowing up bigger then they would have . to much red meat same issue. we shooting up all of our meats with hormones.

you think soda is bad but your drinking fruit juices all day. NOPE. not going to work. to much sugar/to many carbs. dont count sugars count the actual CARBS. thats what matters.

people getting diet cokes. if you think you NEED a diet coke. stop drinking coke as much period. dont mess with the diet stuff. that stuff makes you crave more sugar(CARBS). so you will get your fill somewhere else.

as far as working out. the idea of people working out like they are trying out for the football team is silly also. sure if you love working out, keep it up. for those that never will LOVE IT like that. there's no reason to try to force someone to work out like they are trying out for a team.

the truth is, the reason ya girl is bigger then she used to be. isnt because she stopped working out. she never worked out to begin with 9 times outta 10. its because she sits around at work all day long. and no longer walks every where she goes like she used to when yall were younger.

the older i became the less i walked. i remember driving to baskin robins. baskin robins was 1 block and a half from my house. how ridiculous is that? that little stuff is what starts to add up.

people will be more inclined to do normal life stuff. then they will working out every week. that will last for a few weeks, then we all fall off the wagon.
Get your girl, wife. to take strolls with you brehs. thats how you do it. if your area isnt bad to the point where yall might get knocked upside the head and jacked. walk to the store when you two need a couple of things for the house. if your kids school aint super far away. walk to pick up your kids. if your kids are old enough and they are into sports. while they are playing. You walk around the park area they are playing in. normal LIFE stuff. you keep doing this all of a sudden she will drop 20lbs. and start to get that figure back. now if she gets real excited. she may want to start picking up the pace on some of those walks or she might even say "lets start working out"

i realized i'm a dude, but i'm also an athlete. always have been, always will be. bad knees and all. i've been at sports my entire life. so its easy for me to get on a regimen for awhile then start playing ball. chicks that are not athletes like that(most are not). they have never really had to work out. so they wont understand that kind of work out/regimen you are doing.

This is a good post, however it is a food consumption issue more than anything else. If it were just about having a 9 to 5 and less hours to be active working women around the world as a whole would be overweight and that just isn't the case.
