At what age playing video games becomes an embarrassment?

Why would you waste time wandering in something like Skyrim when you can go to Switzerland and get a real life experience:

I see fakkits already being agitated. I said "hardcore" games where you have to put in hours. Of course playing casually is not a problem but a person who plays 5 hours a day just can't have something that even resembles "exciting" life.

Would an exciting life mean making $10,000+ a month playing games and then winning million dollar tournaments on top of that?

Theres a decent size of population of top gamers making $250,000 + a year now a days.

Theres even ways non top gamers can make $100,000+ a year streaming if their stream brings something unique

But yeah who would wanna make 6 figures a year doing what they love

The main point behind that post wasn't to personally call out anyone/anything for being lame. The main point was to call out nikkas who clown some people for obsessing over one thing, then give a pass to other people (or themselves) for obsessing over something else

How are you gonna try call one form of entertainment lame, when you probably waste time watching a certain TV show your damn self? Or like you said, waste time posting shyt on a forum? As if spending hours anonymously cracking jokes about Drake and black women, is somehow more productive/admirable than playing Street Fighter 4

sometimes I feel like staying in lighting a blunt and replaying an old game or just slaying some monsters in an aRPG. who the fukk is tellin me what I should do for fun ?

if you are addicted and cant get shyt done because of all the fun, thats a problem. but there are addiction problems with anything these days. not exclusive to games. people are addicted to sports, music, movies, tv series, all kinds of entertainment really.

gaming is basically how you choose to have fun when you can have fun. the last thing you should be worried about is people who tell you how they think YOU should have fun.

Yeah. I never play for more than 3 hrs in one sitting. I don't know how some people can play video games all day with no break.

I think most people say they don't take a break.

I know I can play for hours and hours on end, but usually I take a good 15-30 minutes break to go online, cook some food, walk the dog or put on the TV.

As you get older the amount of time you spend playing goes down and the amount of titles on your backlog goes up. I probally play 5 games a year yet I buy 12 titles and complete only 2-3 (can't count sports games as a completion).

Yeah there's a lot of used games I picked up I never got through and ended up trading them back in because I lost the interest because I didn't have the time.

They all been victims to this. Once I fall out of the vibe for these games, can't ever seem to get back in it.

It helps your hand eye coordination as well.

Plus we don't have to sit through the three minutes of commercials every 10 minutes like you do with a TV program.

In my 20s I always thought I would give up gaming when I hit my 30s. In my 30s now and shyt is better than ever. Now I got wife, kids, career all that and will never stop gaming...even my kids playing Minecraft

Anybody giving a shyt what other people do on they free time is the ones wit issues.
