At what age playing video games becomes an embarrassment?

It's not about what others think. :dead:

It's about my perception of myself. As a grown man I can't see myself sitting with a joystick and starring in the screen casting spells.

There is too much shyt to do in life with a limited time. Pushing hours in games is lame however you look at it.

Then again the majority are lames.

So let me guess, you're skydiving and exploring the Swiss Alps every chance you get?

Snorkling with Dolphins and saving cancer patients?

I get what you're saying, but there's a lot of stuff that permits people from doing all of those awesome things.

Life isn't a fairy tale for most.

Most working 40 hours a week, coming home, cooking, cleaning spending time with their fam/so's.

Games are a convenient way to have fun

I stopped playing competitively when i hit 18, I'm nearing 21 and don't find it as exciting anymore. :manny:

Yeah but you can enjoy non-competitive games.

Skyrim is one of the best games this generation and there is no need for any competition in that game.

I`m loving Saints Row 3 right now and playing it all by myself

You're complaining about a hobby. A lot of dudes come home from their job and are too tired to do some crazy ish. Cats with careers that are grinding don't have free time to go on adventures and vacation around the world, so if they have a couple of hours to kill and wanna rock at NBA 2k instead of going to the rec center...more power to them. To be embarrassed by a hobby is lame my dude. Unless it's clearly taking away from other aspects of your life, it's not a big deal that you like video games. No one is gonna judge you for that ish when you start chillin' with grown men.

I don't get you nikkas :snoop:

Y'all think being an adult hardcore gamer is so pathetic.....yet y'all probably would have no problem dappin' up some :flabbynsick: nikka whose life practically revolves around sports or hiphop.....like that's somehow any better

I ain't talkin' about cats who just happen to like watching sports or listening to hiphop.....I'm talking about the clowns who rarely talk about anything else other than that; who know damn near every single NBA player and their stats, or know exactly where Nas was on May 16, 1995 at 5:43 p.m. and what he was doing

The bottom line is we all spend hours on this fukking site, we're all nerds and lames to begin with.

There is nothing cool or productive about spending time on an internet forum.

So the shear fact you're posting here absolves you from any credibility to speak on what activities/past times are lame

Theres obviously extremes like with any activity...if youre neglecting your fam, missing major evenets and shyt to play games then obviously its a problem. But being too old for videogames is a dead concept unless you're still stuck in an old age mentality

you do what the fukk you wanna do. if you dont youre a sheep.

sometimes I feel like staying in lighting a blunt and replaying an old game or just slaying some monsters in an aRPG. who the fukk is tellin me what I should do for fun ? :childplease:

if you are addicted and cant get shyt done because of all the fun, thats a problem. but there are addiction problems with anything these days. not exclusive to games. people are addicted to sports, music, movies, tv series, all kinds of entertainment really.

gaming is basically how you choose to have fun when you can have fun. the last thing you should be worried about is people who tell you how they think YOU should have fun.

Never, but I will say I do feel like :bryan: when I spend too much time on a game, that feeling of I could be doing something more productive always hits me

Yeah. I never play for more than 3 hrs in one sitting. I don't know how some people can play video games all day with no break.
