Bulls had six top-11 picks in MJ's first five years on the team, which brought them three future all-stars and starters on a title team. :unimpressed:

Bron gave the Cavs 7 years and they hadn't put jack shyt around him. I'm sure if he waited another 2-3 years, then JJ Hickson, Anderson Varejao, and Boobie Gibson were just about to develop into starters on a title team?
So Lebron’s teammates were able to help him win 60+ regular season games 2x but not good enough to win in the playoffs, interesting. He formed his 1st super team with Wade and Bosh then later Ray Allen in Miami which is a desirable free agent destination and they went 2-2 in a failed dynasty.

If attracting talent was the problem in Cleveland then why did he leave a top tier organization like the Heat after 4 years to go back to dusty Cleveland? Seems to me he was taking shortcuts to greatness and those things rarely ever work the way it’s supposed to.

He went back because they had Kyrie and would trade their capital for Love

This is cap. :heh:

There’s nothing that Bron does definitively better than MJ other than 3pt shooting and rebounding. With both being arguable in their own right as there wasn’t a focus on 3pt shooting then as there is now and Jordan playing in a time where there were 2 bigs on the floor when it comes to rebounding. He accomplished more in less time all while not getting to hop teams with players that fit his game. The only argument Bron has is longevity and playing a longer amount of time doesn’t make one the better player…
He's a better passer and defender also. Team defense>individual defense and you can't even say that MJ was a better man defender because the 1-3s in his era weren't as offensively advanced as in Bron's era.

Passing is negligible. Jordan can make the same passes Bron made he just wasn’t asked to because he could actually play in an offense that wasn’t totally centered around him having the ball every play.

I don’t care what you say. For a guard to average over 30 pts an along with 3 steals and 1.5 blocks says a lot about that guard. Lebron has done neither so Im not going to allow revisionist history to say that MJ wasn’t a great on AND off ball defender…

Y'alls reading comprehension is ass. :mjlol:

I never said that Bron could singlehandedly hold the Laker defense together with no AD and no Cam. I said he orchestrates the TEAM defense. You can't orchestrate the team defense if you ain't got no defenders to orchestrate. Hayes was fukking horrible in that game, Christie was useless, Reaves and Prince stay getting burned. Plus Ham played Vandy even less in the Bron game (just 13 minutes) than he did when AD/Cam there. So who exactly was playing defense in that game other than Bron?

Other poster was saying that Bron was a net negative on defense and AD singlehandedly holds things together. I said that AD is a great defender, but Bron is too, and Lakers need both of them to work. The Spurs burned the Lakers' defense when AD and Cam were both in there but Bron gone, and the Spurs burned the Lakers' defense when Bron was in there and AD/Cam both gone. Right now they need all three for it to work cause they have no bigs to defend other than AD, and they have no leaders with defensive IQ other than Bron.

Ad is likely second in league dpoy talks. Lebron isn’t even close to that. He’s not a great defender at this point. I will agree that he’s not a net negative, due to iq.

Plays like this don’t help,
