I've been on the indie wave for a while now, they can be equally good, if not better than some of these AAA releases.

Mr. Shifty was one of my favorite indie games last year, it's like playing Hotline Miami with Nightcrawler powers

it's the truth. im tired of day 1 dlc and all this other money grabbing bullshyt these big publishers have been forcing on devs the past couple years. indie is really a saving grace

- platformers
- walking sims
- twin stick shooters
- 8-16 bit graphics
- short games
- puzzlers
- games that are light on gameplay

So that pretty much makes like 95% of them unplayable to me

The amount of shyt indie games that pop up versus the amount that actually end up good is the real issue. Every time I boot up Steam, I am bombarded with garbage

I like some indie games but there are lot of trash ones to dig thru before I can get gold. Some I can find truly unique, but a lot is just rehashing of existing games
