if more games supported linux my desktop woulda been running Arch long ago. I got an old laptop on Arch and its glorious. shyt, id even take Mint over windows.

I have a weird relationship with Linux. The shyt is like my wife. Its a pain in the ass, stresses me out, and always have some sort of issue. Yet, when you troubleshoot the problem and realize there's more underneath the frustration...the shyt is worth the stress :banderas:

Asus, like any other company, can potentially take a loss if they sell a handheld gaming device at a price lower than its production cost or if the device fails to sell well. However, whether or not Asus can afford to take such a loss would depend on various factors, such as their financial situation, the scale of the loss, and their overall business strategy.

If Asus is confident that their handheld gaming device will be a popular and profitable product, they may be willing to take a temporary loss on the device's initial production and sales to gain market share or build brand recognition. On the other hand, if the device is not selling as well as expected, they may decide to cut their losses and discontinue the product.

It's worth noting that Asus, like other technology companies, operates in a highly competitive industry where margins can be thin. Therefore, they need to carefully balance the production cost and the selling price of their products to ensure profitability. Ultimately, whether or not Asus can afford to take a loss on a handheld gaming device would depend on the specific circumstances surrounding the product and the company's overall financial position

Asus could take a loss selling a handheld gaming device if it believes that the device will help to increase brand awareness and loyalty, and/or if it believes that the device will help to generate sales of other products in the future.

For example, if Asus believes that the handheld gaming device will help to increase brand awareness and loyalty among gamers, then it may be willing to take a loss on the device in order to attract new customers. Additionally, if Asus believes that the handheld gaming device will help to generate sales of other products in the future, such as accessories or games, then it may also be willing to take a loss on the device in order to increase sales of these other products.

However, it is important to note that Asus would need to carefully consider the potential risks and rewards of selling a handheld gaming device before making a decision about whether or not to take a loss on the device. Some of the potential risks include:

The device may not be successful and may not generate enough sales to cover the costs of development and production.
The device may cannibalize sales of other Asus products, such as laptops or smartphones.
The device may damage Asus's brand reputation if it is not well-received by consumers.
Overall, whether or not Asus can take a loss selling a handheld gaming device will depend on a number of factors, including the company's overall financial situation, the potential risks and rewards of the device, and the company's marketing strategy.

Naw can’t A.i. this one.

Common sense says they can’t compete with valve cause they have no way to monetize it after initial sale.

There’s no asus game store or Asus exclusives to sell.

They are gonna have to make a profit off the hardware alone.
