I absolutely love the Ratchet & Clank franchise, but I fear Rift Apart may be the last in the series :mjcry:
Sony will give the series another chance, people forgotten that the Ratchet & Clank 2016 re-imagining was a movie tie in that help the game do monster numbers and save the franchise, sold about 7 million and is the best selling title in the series. It would be sad to see the series go out the same way as Jak and Sly did, but if it were to happened, at least the series went out on a high note.

Numbers are decent but also says a lot about how even a critically acclaimed platformer doesn't sell crazy numbers unless it is made by Nintendo.
Mario has been around for how many generations? 7?

They need to think about 10 years down the line.

Mario is 40+ years old

Astro bot hasn’t even gone through a holiday season yet. It will end up selling 5 million+ which isn’t bad whats essentially a new IP. If you look at the chart it says it’s successful in bringing in new players and younger players which is the point.
