imo they fukked up after 3 when it comes to the story outside the animus and personally they’ve been hit or miss.

That is what makes it interesting. Back to the original formula, not the bloat from the last 3 games. But from what I've seen, they didn't double down on what made AC great so I'll just have to catch a playthrough on YouTube.
