OP post the receipt otherwise this is just :duck:

Also who did you get it from? What’s the grade? This could just be a huge mark up on coast and you can be the victim of it.

If that’s one single piece of steak you paid waaaaaaay too much for that. You don’t want to eat that all at once either. It’ll be too rich. When I get my hands on A5 I usually cut it super thin and sear it with different sauces or just make some nigiri too. Plenty of things to do with it. Enjoy it ain’t nothing out there like it.
His hands in the pic. You can get legit kobe beef for less than he paid for that steak :heh: restaurant supplier here in Vegas with excess is selling ground wagyu for 8 bucks a pound. Straight lying out the ass obviously

You’ll bet me money, that a place that supplies the Wynn, bazaar meats, Bellagio, and many other Vegas strip restaurants doesn’t have actual wagyu in excess in stock right now? How much we betting fam? They got 6oz A5 filets you can order straight from japan. They have 7 figures worth of beef in stock and no strip or local Vegas restaurants to supply to, but it ain’t really wagyu. :dead:

Wagyu is a breed of cattle. Kobe is wagyu from a specific region in japan. Kobe has to be from Japan while wagyu can be farmed anywhere. The ground wagyu he is talking about is from less favorable parts of the cow but still wagyu nonetheless.

Just excess in stock for top tier restaurants that they need to unload. 6oz A5 Japanese filets you can buy and get delivered tomorrow for 125 bucks. The primo cuts aren’t the bargains. The middle and Lower tier stuff I filled my freezer with. They have to move it ASAP, and they have (had) tons of it
