fukking or wifing? There's a distinction. Dudes was ready to wife any random Dominican broad they happened to stumble upon in Washington Heights. I have never in my life seen black men say the same about any ethnic group of black women. ANY. To get wifed, black women have to be thoroughbreds, with a 401k, and willing to spend on a nikka. Same thing yall say about wenches. They got mad requirements for black men but will marry, support, and birth children for any ol scallywag looking whiteboy.

You really believe guys out here in generally care about a women financial stability, men are the only one's who openly get married to people in bad debt with no real means on how they can pay it back without some major sacrifices. The only men asking women to really spend on them are bums - I don't know what kind of men y'all got over there with that shyt but that behavior is only being upheld by bums.
I'm just saying there is a simp on every corner of the street, nearly every women has had simps ready to do whatever. They know this and deal with this on regular basis. Seen it myself too often, there's always that one guy in most women lives, ready to drop her mani and pedi money. Most of those men having trouble fukking are the main one's that want relationships and y'all know that.. The texting buddy, the passing time texting buddy, the backup backup plan buddy, the he is a good guy but nah buddy; those suckers are in every women phone looking to be appreciated - seen it all.
The only type of man that I agree with you on with this behavior are the one's who felt left behind by black women at young adult ages and now when it's time to find one - he only wants the top of the creampie because that's what he had to be to get chosen. But for the majority of man, they will always settle for what they find attractive - all her financial choices is not in the top 5 of what they are worried about

Agreed, more brothers need to be taught on how they need to influence the future of the community. The lack of overall conversations we aren't having is causing many of my college brothers to not see the bigger picture. That's why those black man who date IR don't think about how it will influence their future / impact and build something outside of their own households.

Aww, if I could blush, I would. This is my first day posting in TLR.
I could very well be wrong, but I think young black men feel powerless, like the problem is too far out of hand. I've tried to have these convos with black women and, despite my absolute disgust at the bedwenchery, they have a point: men are the ones who propose. They can only accept or decline offers. If black men start looking like they cooking up something, the wenchery will slow. The women are amenable and searching for black men who want to lead, and not on no 'I want somebody to handle the adult shyt so I can chill.' I'm talking about thorough black women. I may start a thread about this (if I can, Idk the protocol here).

I don't care about the bedwenching, it's only my point to speak on it when we are being used to further their agenda when they clearly know where the issue lies for not just us black men but black women too from having our own backbone - stability in this country. All the black man I continously find who do not see the issue with ir, weren't raised on a solidarity to black people, which is the major problem with those types.
But I also feel at the same time, many brothers who are going to schools or like you said mobilizing up through education are also like you have pointed in their minds accepting that they will work for the system or attempt to fix the problem within the system, instead of leaving the system behind altogether which further creates a divide with highly skilled individuals who have the critical thinking skills and tools to create a new system.
Our people are too intertwine with white people. Regarding our lifestyles, our standards of living etc. We feel at our most highest when we can compare ourselves to them - whether that's their neighborhoods, the cars we drive, the places we get food and resources from.
We need to start from the bottom, from scratch, not enough people realize that. All the fast wealth people are chasing will be accumulated by buying properties in our neighborhoods, advocating voting for black leaders in their neighborhoods and providing our own resources and jobs without the white standardization of maximizing profits that America has created (which is preventing many people to see that 40K owning a 12 hour shift nail salon far outways 40K 8 hour shift w/ benefits at some desk job).

Absolutely correct. We have to be willing to strike out on our own, from the bottom, from scratch, in order to build an edifice that will stand. How you gon fight white supremacy and you can't even feed yourself without their help? What about internet, electricity, plumbing? Legal and medical advice? And who are we allowing to teach our children? We have to build from ground zero bc we lost all the community resources we had pre-integration. And we busy flossing, ie dissipating the wealth we work so hard to attain. Getting our nails done, spending frivolously, and posting on IG. shyt is discouraging, ngl, but we need to build our own systems and our own values.
We're too worried about what white people doing. Used to be that black people knew we were black and understood the current limitations of our condition. Now, people out here planning million dollar lifestyles off a lil government job. Poor black people trynna keep up with the Kardashians. Don't even make no sense. Worse, they're passing it down to their children. We have to realize how fukked up shyt is. Even here, nikkas be like, 'Stop posting depressing shyt.' This is real life, you can't avoid reality, esp not as men. Yall have to step up, the community is dying on the vine without your leadership. (This is as far as I will go. I don't believe in telling men explicitly, in great detail, what to do or how to do it.) The womenfolk will follow.

Either way fukk these Asians. I stopped actively supporting any of their businesses years ago. Had a contractor show up to my home that was Korean and I sent him home. Waited weeks until I found a black contractor to do the job. Black people need to find the beauty in being uncomfortable for a little while for a better future.
