It's hella rappers over 30 talking about real shyt in the year 2022 what on earth is this nikka talkin bout?
I'm tired of nikkas complaining about mainstream.

Little Brother, Tribe, De La done dropped HEAT...grown man HEAT over the last few year.

It's your fault if you listening to Young Lil Felony rapping in his crib with a thousand nikkas about his opps

Only young people consume music at a ravenous pace.

The rest of us follow what they choose simply because they are the bulk of the traffic when it comes to whatever music market.

I don't listen to new music or basically anything newer than mid 00s, so I can't relate

But that's why. That's why older heads try to dress and talk like the youth. Marketing. To the core demo who actually consumes the product heavily.

Rap in general got black men in a perpetual state of adolescence.

Black men in general aren't taken seriously in the real world because our collective image is so intertwined with hip-hop culture.

We're seen more as immature little boys/entertainment rather than responsible grown men/ leaders/ providers/ protectors of the community.
Been saying this for years. Its sad as all hell.

“ I get get my dikk licked red bone complexion like a piglet” :why:

Man Rocky need to shut his ass up. If Krit, Cole, Kendrick, etc. said this it’d be different but this is the wrong messager fasho

Don't Believe the Hype
I don't f*ck with Soulja Boy AT ALL, but it's always been like this.

We had Cam screaming "CURTIS!" and pointing at Bill O'Reilly screaming "YOU MAD" like a child when he was damn near 30.

Had Jay calling himself "Young Hov"

Had Eazy-E lying saying he was born in '73 - which, would've made him 15 when his and NWA albums dropped.

I’m really confused by this dude. I think I always have been actually. One, I’ve never understood the hype — despite him having a couple joints I liked (Palace is one). I could never reconcile how a dude from NY was biting as hard as he was and it was seen an “innovation” or “influence.” Breh was cosplaying Houston. Fool was talking about he’s Texas trill and he coming down swangin’ and shyt :gucci:. That’s one of the things that is really divergent in current rap from the past. You can get on now by just being a copy of another dude or completely jacking a sound, and no one says anything (e.g., Gunna). But, back to this goofy. I listened to that D.M.B. song and is that supposed to be mature rap :mjlol:? Word? I beg to differ, sir.
Asap is infatuated with ADOS culture he wouldn’t be here without the African American influence. Atleast he put some respect and gave credit to Houston Texas.
