I read the article.
I find it ironic m how bias and agenda driven you sony stans are just like you accuse the writter of this story of being.
When the other senator spoke out agains sony the very first thing y’all did was run to her donations page claim microsoft paid her for her opinions/support.
Now this article does the same exact thing, except Sony is the alleged culprit and y’all calling foul
I know what the article is and the agenda behind writing it,
All i said was there seems to be a clear shift on how both sides are viewing sony, and if they begin to view them as aligned with other companies like Tic tok and tencient that are currently going through heavy scrutiny, sony could find themselves in the same boat.

The shift you’re seeing is M$ spending money to have people bring this up.
The Examiner article mentions Tencent more than Sony. It’s bashing Bidens admin for being “easy” on CCP companies.

When I posted the info straight from American senators y’all attacked them too
I mean it’s fairly obvious to anyone who observes the industry that direct competition to Sony isn’t really possible. Nintendo went blue ocean and targets a different section of the market. Sony uses its market dominance to further entrench itself in its position. That’s part of how we got to a company buying whole publishers instead of buying temporary rights to exclusive games.
Yet we still got people shouting from the hilltops that the effective monopoly should not be challenged.
