I read the story years ago but I still remember it for how foul it was.

Some gang members drove up on him and shot him in the head early in the morning while he was waiting at the bus stop. Now in hindsight maybe he was active out there but maybe not. Chicago is just a foul place. Beautiful city. Too much poverty and mentality ill people. Philly, while a shythole, is more so about getting money. Compare Meek Mill to Lil Reece and that’s how the average Philly nikka is compared to what Chicago cats seem like. You can cut down 90% of your issues in Philly by not having altercations with nikkas with nothing to lose, by not selling drugs and by not visiting the grimey areas. In Chicago it seems like nikkas wanna kill you just because.

Yeah east coast nikkas is more about money and the drug trade more than anything. If you wasn't involved with that you were mostly good. Was never about gang culture like Chicago and LA where they were murdering for sport almost.

While Philly might not have the gangs (by name) that Chicago has, there is definitely neighborhood beef between different streets, blocks, or neighborhoods. This is essentially the same thing as gang warfare. I lived in Philly for ten years, and taught in the worst alternative schools, where kids like these were my students.

That is true to an extend where as they know who their enemy is but anybody can walk in the neighborhoods. Philly is too small to fight over colors territory of that nature.

What crazy is that an outsider can try and come in and set up shop and those blocks or enemies will team up to get that outsider the fukk out.
