MLK was smashin' hoes (white hoes too) left and right. He wasn't as religious as you might think. Nikka was just hustlin' as a reverend IMO, but felt compelled to do something about his people's situation. Supposedly his wife was one of them high class blacks too, they weren't goin' through the sh*t normal people went through, but he still made it a point to take a stand, daps to the original pawg hunter for that :pachah:
On the real though, I feel the OP. It's tough because I come from a religious family, but when you leave the church community, there's real life. And it's all about brains, brawn and guts for the most part. While you prayin', your boss is thinkin' about how if he fires you, he can finally cop that new Aston Martin he's had his eyes on. You look at all the dominant countries, these nikkaz been straight evil, and still do all kinds of fukkery in Latin America and Africa. I think the world is the same as your block. Prayer ain't gonna take the dopeman off your block. Only the guns will. When the US gets together and prays so that Iran will reconsider its ways and stop making nukes, or that China will share oil in the Pacific Ocean with the other members of ASEAN, then I'll believe 100%. Until then, I pray first, then I fight for what's mine.
