i dont mean that as an insult, but its obvious that most of the people voting wutang, look at rap thru a limited scope, and as evidenced by this post, didnt even listen to bone thugs.

i remember in one of these threads on sohh, some wu-head claimed that all bone raps about is "weed & bi*ches". bone never even rapped about women or disrespected them. and they rapped about just as much chit as wutang.

You're talking about ballads such as if I could teach the world and days of our lives. Bone had versatile shyt, but to say they were or are more universally popular than wu-Tang is just completely false. WU-Tang is a wanted act world wide even at this point. I'm far from a bone hater, they got/ still get love here in Detroit. That style of rap is a Midwest staple. Detroit has always been a mixed bag though where cats that were sharp lyrically got more love. WU was more popular here imo, at least with my age demographic.

Yea. Wu Forever is generally considered a classic and there being filler on Disc 2 is bullsh!t. Black Shampoo is the only track on that disc that gets hate and it still has one of RZA's better beats on the album.

Wu has two classic group albums (36 and Forever) and the W is a fvcking dope album.

it doesnt matter tho, because e.99 gets more across-the-board acclaim by the people than any wutang album. group or solo.
