@bigboss
East 1999 has some corny beats, though.
shyt is only hyped up on the internet as good as a album it is, great album but its not a classic at all.
its nowhere in the same stratosphere as E-99 impact wise.
How many different styles are amongst Bone Thugs.
All them niqqas sound the same. That shyt was always wack to me.
A crew of niqqas spitting the same shyt. Even Das Efx got boring as fukk for being on that shyt.
The fukk outta here putting them above Wu.
No variety ass niqqas.
The fleetwood mac track was a sample, not a collaboration fakkit And the Will I Am track aint a album cut either got dam you lames dont know shyt about what you speak of
Lol! Bone did a song with Yolanda Adams??
This just gets funnier each day.
Actually its Track 8 and the song is called streets which also features The Game.. you think Bone ft Will I Am on that track for crossover appeal like you originally argued? And you thought the Fleetwood mac track was a collaboration, you dont know shyt lil nikka foh
That's what happens when you're a legend though, you get requests for collabs that seem out of left field. Kanye wants Rae on a track with Bieber doing the hook? You gotta show love when people show love to you. As long as you don't compromise your integrity. And the Kanye track was a tribute to the Wu anyhow. It's like not showing up to pick up your lifetime achievement award.
Bone gets the same chit. The track with Chamillionaire. Freddy Gibbs just reached out.
Dave Chappelle ain't white.
All this talk of Jimmy Fallon makes me have a lot of respect for him. Didn't realize he was such a fan of quality hip hop.
So the Wu is a white persons group but Phil Collins and Gwen Stefani are color less?
Smh at you thinking Bone got Will I Am bc they were label mates for a hot minute 15 years ago.
You are drawing arbitrary lines in the sand here. Bieber no. Phil Collins, Stefani and Fleetwod Mac are ok though?
But it's a Ciara song.
obviously youve never listened to the group, so why make such bold statememts?
none of the members of bone thugs sound even remotely alike. comparing them to groups like das efx is just ridiculousness.
on the flip, there are numerous wutang members that could easily be mistaken for each other by the un-trained ear.
and since yall like to bring up solos, most of those wutang solos had the same overall sound. bone's solos were all completely different.
i was wondering what these dudes were talking about and where all these secret bone thugs albums were.
i knew i wasnt crazy.
so doing a song with yolanda adams is a bad thing?
but ghostface can do that cheesy song with beyonce? raekwon with justin bieber?......wait for it....... ol d b on "ghetto superstar"?
yea, thats the only will.i.am collabo that i know of.
and that certainly isnt a crossover track.
nor do i even remember him having a verse on there.
if youre going to hop into side-arguments, know what youre hopping into.
i didnt say anything was wrong with it. im responding to dude acting as if the looks that wutang gets are great feats. theyre not. its just that they just-so-happened to have fans that are in power. its also the reason why certain artists get boosted in hindsight, which leads to revisionist history being peddled(not saying that this part applies to wutang).
i know chappelle isnt white. i was simply responding to the person who brought him into the conversation.
bone still has ties to numerous ruthless artists. you dont know the relationships that they may or may not have had with certain individuals over there. bg knoccout came home and stood on stage with bone thru their entire reunion show, i think it was.
so?
and ludacris/dtp have numerous other instances such as these.
once again, youve proven my point.so very helpful you are.youve already been whooped.yall aint saying nothing. barely anybody is tackling any topics on yall end. its mostly cheerleading & chit talking.and when yall do try to say something, you have to move the goal posts.never saw it.i remember wutang already being washed by the time that movie came out tho.word?what lines were aimed at rza? i think i have an idea. its prolly the lines that i thought assumed were aimed at dj paul & juicy j.
are we seriously using this card?
bone thugs were known before they came out?
we gonna act like eazy-e wasnt semi-blackballed at the time?
we gonna act like wutang didnt have their own primetime mtv special before their album even started selling?
we gonna act like wutang didnt have alot more promotion, exposure & propaganda behind them than bone thugs?
we gonna act like bone thugs werent getting slighted by the media their whole career? the same media that worshipped wutang?
bone thugs were the ones at disadvantage in this race buddy. AND THEY STILL WON.
Bone's got the better group album, Wu has much better solo and general content but If I had to pick one album between all they albums it would be E99.
Listening to Kendrick Lamar, couldn't help but think of Krayzie Bone's flow
