:whoa:

I never said BONE is irrelevant or done. I'm a fan of both groups.

And I think I need to differentiate something. Wu has more pop culture appeal because they have more hard core fans. That's why you have Hollywood asking RZA to score movies, or Ghost to star in "Ironman", or Chapelle doing Wu skits, etc.

BONE has more pop music appeal.

And that's not a diss. To put it into perspective BONE was doing songs with Gwen Stefani in 2009:

Everyday Together (You & Me) - Bone Thugs - N - Harmony Ft. Gwen Stefani - YouTube

Around the time Raekwon dropped this:

Raekwon feat. Jadakiss & Styles P - Broken Safety - YouTube

It is what it is. BONE has album cuts with Fleetwood Mac, Gwen Stefani, Will.I.Am and Phil Collins. They tried to cross over, so it's not like I'm criticizing them. It's just that Wu never went that route, so sales is kinda a moot point.

Fred.

Bone was already a multi-platinum group. In fact, they came on the scene with one of the most hardcore debuts ever and sold regardless, so I doubt they were looking for crossover appeal. Maybe they were just legitimately fans of Phil Collins and Gwen Stefani's music. Hell, even Krayzie Bone has a song with Tiffany (80s pop singer) on his second album, and that song wasn't even released as a single.

there's no excuse for "ghetto cowboy". you respectfully see Mario Van Peebles 'Posse' as a bad look and eschew the studio session.

Kanye orchestrated that Bieber shyt. And Rae was ALWAYS the most wanna be sellout dude in Wu. He's still a beast, never compromises HIS raps and Cuban Linx 2 is way stronger than the best Bone shyt.

We can line lyrics up. Line beats up etc.

And correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't that song with Bieber over a Wu classic?

Yeah. Slore out the pop stars al day. Make them come to you.

:heh:

Heavens Movie >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>OB4CL2

Thug Mentality >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> OB4CL2

Mo Thugs Vol 1 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>OB4CL

F.L.E.S.H. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>OB4CL2

Fukk, that L BURNA album gives OB4CL2 a run for its money

Hell the best song on that last Bizzy album Crossroads 2010, "The Soul" is just as good as the best song on OB4CL2

Justin Bieber/Rae song comparison makes no sense because #1 it wasn't on an album.

All the BONE songs I mentioned are actual album cuts.

And #2 , Rae never changed his style before, during, or after that song dropped. People are acting like Rae started rapping for tweens when the Bieber song dropped. He put out 3 street mixtapes, "Coke Up in da Dollar Bill", "The Vatican Mixtape Vol. 4", and "Cocainism Vol. 2", then "Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang" the same year that song was out. All street shyt, same as "OB4CL".

So :wtf: at this having some kinda negative impact on his career or rep.

BONE on that Gwen Stefani song sounds nothing like the group that put out "East 1999". shyt is like night and day.

younger than Kanye. slightly older than Kobe.

waaay younger than Bizzy.

angry?

You do realize Bizzy is only 36, and if you're slightly older than Kobe, that makes you 34. How is he WAY older than you?

So we condemn artists for trying something new and experimenting, but then we also complain about them when they stay the same (i.e. DMX). Which one is it gonna be?
