Italy been great but the love in for Chiellini and Bonucci been a bit much. Kane (through a bit of diving) will cause them issues and Sterling and Saka will destroy them. They’re still great if balls in the box and what not, but England’s fundamental way of scoring is passings from wide in behind and cut backs into the box.

my main fear is more Veratti and co destroy Phillips and Rice, which is why Henderson is needed to play more forward passes and Foden to play who better at joining up with the midfield to play some passing moves.

Agree re. Henderson for Rice, Denmark were making him look silly in the first half - he's a pretty limited player with the ball at his feet. Not sure about foden though, rather Sancho. Foden tippy tappy shyt with Sterling was mind numbing in the first 2 games. Either drop kane deep to ping passes quickly to saka/sterling or play Sancho for that.

Regardless though, Italy are going to breeze this 2-0 i think. Rice and Phillips will be exposed, low key they were exposed today - Denmark were playing straight through enough times in the first half. Walkers pace saved England on a few occasions.
