I was in the middle of typing about my Italy's performance last night and that incident happened..

that was devastating to watch and it was disgusting how long the footage was on for.
theres no way we should have seen them applying cpr nevermind the footage of his partner/wife.

You can't dismiss the impact of COVID and the high intensity nature of his sport. Plus, the truncated season he had with Spurs and then Inter and his national team can all point to a significant amount of fatigue. It's not going to be get better, the season coninues in August through May next year and there's still CL, EL, World Cup Qualifeirs, the respective leagues, the respective league cups etc there going to be more player injuries because that is an INSANE amount of football to pack in 2 year period.

Guys need to start faking injuries and reasons to go home like Neymar because it is going to be brutal the next 2 years.

This is why I'm OK with NBA teams having players on load management from time to time. It's a tight schedule in sports all over the world. You can't expect players just do more in less time.
