'Arrival' was overrated

Nah i thought it was alright, not one of the best sci fi movies tho, but a change from the current sci fi movies. This coming from someone who thought sicario was overrated

I agree with you on sicario. but i went into arrival thinking it would be the scif fi version of sicario and thought it would be dead/confusing

but it was slightly better than i expected. still not amazing tho

I liked Arrival. It was a pretty good movie. It may be overrated though. But something being overrated doesn't mean that it isn't good. I didn't care for Sicario, but I didn't think it was a bad movie. Just way overrated.

I agree. Even though I did like the movie and got the whole message, the reviews made it out to be the most incredible, thought provoking Sci Film EVER. There's a good amount of the film that drags too. Overall, I still liked it for what it was but this shyt wasn't no 2001 or even Interstellar on an Emotional / Sci Fri tip.

I agree with the OP. shyt was not good It wasn't even a Sci-fi movie. It felt like some type of drama with a scientific concept thrown in but done very poorly.
