'Arrival' was overrated

I watched the oscar screener for the free the other day. shyt was just aight. Muth fukkas talking about it was the best Sci fi film in decades, nah. It has excellent cinematography and the story starts out strong, but as the mystery starts to unravel shyt turns into a quasi lifetime movie with Sci fi elements. 2 1/2 stars.

I agree. Even Empire who I rate highly, had it at no2 of 2016. Thought it would be a lot more intense. Not a big Amy Adams fan too.
