Ari Lennox didn't win because she can't sing. Neither can Lizzo and HER is the most talented of the three. So she can't really be mad. Ari Lennox just needs to work on them vocals. You can't so call sing on a soulful beat and and call it real R&B. She just sounds like a nasally 12 year old performing at a talent show.

But that is just my opinion...

Did she make her album for black people, or for awards? They’re way more famous than her right now, and these award shows want the biggest stars getting the awards to attract their audiences.

Artists publicly complaining about awards will always be cringeworthy.

That’s why the awards mean nothing. So many less popular but more talented artists lose or never get nominated every year.
