so why did the robot put that black goo in the dudes drink? I had to go to the bathroom so i think i missed the reason why he did that? Was the robot just being a dikk?
He was doin a science experiment
Dave didnt give a shyt about any of them on the ship except Weyland![]()
Watch the film for yourself ya broke fukk.
The whole plot is analyzed and explained in the article I posted about ten pages back and people are still saying this doesn't have religious ties?![]()
The movie was great. My only question is, how can David, an EMOTIONLESS robot, decide to do that to Charlie? I suppose it's possible that he took an order from Weyland.
He did take an order, but he also chose to obey it (he disobeyed on other occasions.) He's not emotionless. They keep telling him that he is, and that's what he's supposed to be, so he repeats it himself. But remember him quoting Lawrence of Arabia at the beginning- "the trick... is not minding that it hurts." Remember how his face changes to an expression of disappointment when Weyland says in the video that David can never be a real son to him because he's not human. Remember his sarcasm when Holloway keeps bothering him about being a robot. He definitely has feelings, even if his emotional life is not identical to a human's. In fact, he spends the whole movie proving the humans wrong about him.
I thought Dave did that cause he knew he was smashing ole girl and he/Weyland? wanted them make a WTF baby.

lol
putting something alien in a human. What did they think would happen.
And why not do it to somebody who was less important then one of the scientists?
Why do it at all though?
still trying to figure it out. I guess the head in the bag will tell her why he did it in the next movie. Thought i missed something.
