REALLY? White Fence, Maravilla, Temple Street, Dogtown. Those are all Mexican gangs active ass fukk today in LA whom started 50 years before the zootsuit. If it wasnt for Mexicans blacks wouldnt be all inked in our styles, riding fixed up whips, throwing gangs signs and dressing like cholos.,

Youd be wearing, combat boots, and hoop earrings while whites,asian and mexicans all laughed at how cool you thought you looked! It wasnt till nikkas started cold jacking that Mexican inkwork, that Mexican artwork, that Mexican style banging, that Mexican style whipping that blacks went Mainstream! Mind you negroe, that blacks all through the South , Midwest, East Coast have never even met a Mexican Sureno Cholo, yet they all walk in tatted up in the style representing those massive and historic gangs ( SMH LOL!!) Mind you nikkas have 400 years of history in the American South yet they never had a gang problem till LA nikkas brought Mexican style gangs into that region ( SMH LOL! ) now whose more pathetic? blue red banging?

Seems like a Norteno v Sureno thing! And if it wasnt enough that the 2 most famous black gangs got all their clothings, tattoo work and colors from Mexicans , you guys started killing eachother for it just like Mexicans had done in the barrios of LA since the 1900s! A full 70 years later nikkas started doing the same thing and importing this Mexican lifestyle to nikkas whom had never known that type of life and never had no history t it at all!

I didn't say there weren't any mesican gangs in tha early 1900s

I'm saying your whole cholo style of dress came from blacks and zoot suits

Low riders as a subcultre from what I understand is mainly Chicano w/ various contributions from black and white americans.

Zoot suits w/o a shadow of a doubt originated amongst black americans who lived that the Jazz-Jive life and then it was picked up by Chicanos, Filipinos, Asians etc..

The whole plaid shirt/khakis/chucks, I have no idea about
