In your minds you're like " @ us taking shyt from mexicans" but the fact still remains that lowriders,plaid shirts and dikkies came from chicanos on the west coast. These chicanos grew up sharing the same schools and neighborhoods with blacks, so let's not act like it ain't no coincidence that rappers on the west coast imitated the style.

Just look at lowrider car shows on youtube and you'll see that majority of the people there are mexican.

mexicans didn't invent wearing dikkies and i dont see black folks on the west dressed like that. only mexicans are still rocking cortez, dikkies and plaid shirts in 2014
