i read that the live gate for Royal Rumble is over $7M.. the media and google search interest was WM level.. and thx to the streaming deal more people watched the Rumble than any other in history. Both nights of WM in Hollywood are sold out damn near. it's gonna be WWE's biggest gate ever. WWE RAW XXX was over 2.5M viewers which in the era of cord cutting is good.. Last SD! rating was a good number also.

Want more proof? We laugh about AEW but over a million viewers for a mediocre Dynamite on Wednesday. They are doing live gates over $1M and that's a secondary promotion in the U.S. and they haven't even been that great..they can be better.

Want more proof? NJPW's stream platform has more viewers now than ever before and the San Jose show they have for Feb. sold out in a few days.

I think peeps should just be happy that you have major promotions doing business, and smaller promotions are doing well.

I’ve watched wrestling for over 30 years and wrestling has never been as accepted mainstream wise then it has been now.

The coverage during the Attitude era seemed to be very condescending and dismissive of the product at the time.
