Genuinely curious. I don't watch much TV these days. But growing up, you had the uncle Phils, the Cosby's etc. The archetype of a solid, masculine, strong yet benevolent black man.

Are there any modern equivalents for young black boys that are coming up?

feed them informative biopics and documentaries that way they can prosper in life without this complex or handicap.

Sitcoms basically dead these days, but when I was a youngin positive reinforcement like seeing Phil & Vivian banks as a judge & professor Claire & cliff huxtable as a doctor & lawyer & black college students at a hbcu(fictional)on different world were good for young blacks people psyches. Even the cartoon fat Albert had positive messages

That movie Hollywood shuffle is dope cuz it shows how Hollywood typecasted black people years ago , every role was a drug dealer, pimp,prostitute,gang banger, burglar etc.
